Pachypodium Saundersii

 PACHYPODIUM SAUNDERSII

This is another of the Pachypodium sp, native of the Southern part of Africa in Namibia, Mozambique. They grow in the dry part of the land with minimal water. They are deciduous in nature, loses all the leaves during the winter season.
They have a nice caudex with multiple branches arising from the sides.
When I got my plant the leaves have already started growing after dormancy. I loved the way the branches are coming out of the caudex. the leaves are long and green, I have to wait till autumn to see the white flowers who come in clusters from the apex of the branches. They are the fastest-growing amongst the Pachypodiums.  I potted it in a dry potting soil made for my Pachypodiums. The soil must not hold water. I have kept it in a well-lighted place in my house where it receives Sunlight for minimum of 4 hours. I love to water it once in the week as the large caudex holds water.
